[Recipe] What To Do With Leftover Halloween Candy?

It's getting chilly! Best time of the year for a delicious hot drink :)

Halloween was a spooktacular Tuesday evening, great costumes, haunting decorations, and of course, lots of candy. This week, we've been thinking of what to do with the bounty of candy in our respective households.

There is a mountain of chocolate on our kitchen counters. What to do?

We decided to use the leftover Halloween candy creatively. Usually, we are all pretty healthy, making sure to take our vitamins, but what the heck, every now and again a treat is good for the soul.

What's your favorite Halloween candy? This devilishly sweet coffee infusion will be featuring the gold ole Milky Way.

HALLOWEEN MILKY WAY MOCHA COFFEE
YIELD: 1 PINT SYRUP
SERVES: 2+
Total time: 9 MINS
Prep time: 1 MIN
Cook time: 8 MINS

INGREDIENTS:
1 cube Unsalted Butter
1 Cup Sugar
1 Cup Chocolate Milk
2 Tablespoons Cocoa
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 Cup chopped Milky Way Candy Bars
2 Pods of VitaCup French Roast Coffee (dark roast)

COOK:
Add all the ingredients in order over a medium-low flame, adding the chopped Milky Way last. Bubble Bubble toil and trouble until smooth, then add to a cup of your favorite VitaCup coffee. We suggest the French Roast, which is our darkest roast for bold flavor.

There will be more than enough for two, so share with family and friends.
