According to the National Safety Council, 43% of Americans admit they are too tired to function at work properly. And if that wasn’t bad enough, 39% of professionals have trouble remembering things at work because of fatigue.
Admittedly there are several causes, ranging from lack of sleep, dehydration to lack of exercise. One of the apparent causes of this hidden epidemic can be attributed to an unbalanced diet.
Whether you are a busy mom or a promising professional, don’t expect to function at your best if your diet lacks a balance of vitamins and minerals. Sadly, as a Registered Dietitian, I see this every day. Patients with vitamin deficiency have been known to suffer from:
